I must agree that black dye drop rate has been increased.

I have recieved 2 over the past 6 days, but quite long ago I hardly recieved one a month.

maybe they are increasing drops slowly and carefully to lower prices of the more wanted things a bit.

it seems confirmed that Black Dye drop rate has increased a bit to offset the currently obsurd price on them..

the other day i got 2 black dyes around old ascalon, i was lvling my pet, and my pet was doing all the killings! For a time, it made me think that pet kills = greater chance of rare drops... until i saw this post... hahaha

Four ectos dropped for my 3 man trapper team in UW two days ago, things havent been that good since July, so something definately going on.

A couple guildies and myself were bored last night so we were having team races to see who could collect the most Red Iris Flowers in presearing in a 2 hour timespan. I had 2 drop for me while running around killing things looking for flowers.

In the spirit of the season prehaps they're doing all kinds of things? Black dyes... icey dragon swords... who knows. Maybe ecto and shards... remove the dying nightmares for a day or two?

How about no AoE nerf on Christmas Day?

Hmm... I got my first Black dye drop in Pre-searing with my ranger a few days ago. Thank god I've sold my ectos before they lower the prices even more (if they do).

I've got 2 new characters on a new account. One's at THK , other in the jungle and only gotten 2 dyes in total. My primary account has over 400 in storage plus all the ones I've used though. Gotten about 20 black of that total.

in the last 2 days ive got 3 icy dragon swords, 2 black dyes, a sup vigor, sup divine, and around 10 ecto. i dont care whats going on as long as it keeps going like this

Hmmm... I've not had a black dye drop since *ponders* doing one of the Piken Square quests I think, and now I'm in the Sage Lands.

I've had more black dye drops in Pre-Searing than in Post.

I have 4 lvl 20+ and have 'retired' many more characters but have *never* had a black drop

. I've been in parties twice when another got one, though.

Having a black dye of my very own drop is almost a bigger goal than finishing the game with all my girls at this rate!
